This project is an addition to the existing primary school. The proposed design is a modern interpretation of the existing building and is sympathetic to the classical elements of the original school. The addition incorporates a defined base detailed with cast stone; the center portion of the new building is defined with cast stone detailing at the sill and head of the windows which are evocative of the cast stone detailing of the existing structure. The new addition has been constructed with a face brick matching the existing material along with cast stone that matches the current limestone elements of the existing building.
