Purcell|Everett Architects is a multi disciplinary architectural design firm founded in 1990 and located in New York City. Our office specializes in the planning, design and construction documentation of new construction, renovation and rehabilitation projects with a particular emphasis on educational and healthcare architecture. During the time we have been specializing in this field we have developed a core group of exceptionally strong design professionals who are committed to providing the appropriate level of design to match our clients needs. Robert Purcell is Managing Partner of Purcell|Everett Architects. His experience spanning over thirty-five years includes office, municipal, healthcare, commercial, educational, industrial, housing facilities and historic rehabilitation projects. Mr. Purcell is a hands-on principal who remains active in each project from conception and design, through to final building commissioning. Mr. Purcell works closely with each client to ensure that all client needs are met, and that project budgets, design, construction schedules and Q/A practices are maintained. He approaches each project with a well proven management system that assures achievement of these goals. At each step of the design process, Mr. Purcell insures that design criteria, quality and budgets are monitored and maintained. Close attention to client input and participation are key to this successful management approach.

Ray Everett is Design Partner, his dedication to exploration and research, passion for discovering creative solutions, combined with strong technical, management and implementation skills makes him the ideal steward to bring your project to successful completion. With a highly collaborative approach, he considers you, the client, to be the primary collaborator: insuring that your needs and expectations for the project are always accounted for at every step of the process. In the role of project and design lead, Ray has delivered numerous successful projects from inception to completion. Having developed a large arsenal of efficient, advanced documenting and detailing techniques, he consistently assures that all projects are delivered on time and on budget. His extensive experience dealing with Educational, Municipal, Science and Technology as well as Corporate projects, combined with expertise on all current local codes and approval processes, provides a strong base to bring your project vision to fruition.
