PS-IS 128Q

PS-IS 128Q is occupying an entire city block in the Middle Village area of Queens. The school has a capacity of 648 students. Offering a full PS/IS academic program on four floors and a full cellar level the school has a kitchen cafeteria, two story auditorium and dance studio a gymnasium and a full complement of academic classrooms. The new school building occupies the west portion of the site while the eastern section is reserved for a kindergarten playground which is separated from the I.S playground with its basketball courts and baseball diamond. Purcell Architects were design architects for this project which has been constructed under the New York City School Construction Authority design build program.
