The addition of the computer center at Carmen Hall encompasses approximately 25,000 square feet of new space and reconfigures approximately 35,000 square feet of existing space. The addition is located on the plaza level and encloses the space below the existing building in two distant areas, these areas are linked across the enclosed courtyard by a connecting corridor. The building incorporates the college’s main computer center along with a computer learning center a community outreach program, continuing education department and various other academic and administrative functions. Classrooms are equipped with student personal computer work stations that are integrated with the teacher console and image projection system.
